What's New in SolarTrack Version 6 ?
SolarTrack 6 has been packed with new features and reports, as well as a whole host of general improvements.
Some of the major improvements made in the latest version are:
New Functions

book enhancements
|
Several improvements have been made to SolarTrack's appointment book. For instance, the system now has a 'quick view' mode, which enables you to see up to 20 columns on the
screen at a time, so that you can view virtually the whole day's appointments in one glance.
The appointment book is now clipboard friendly, meaning that you can use the mouse to cut, copy and paste appointments for ease of use and faster operation. This facility also
makes it much easier to quickly book recurring, multiple appointments. |
Staff
Working Times

Improvements have been made to the recording of the
staff working times. There is a new feature where staff can
'clock in' and 'clock off' this allows for staff to login to
the system under different user name This features enables
management to monitor their staff time keeping which can in
turn be used for payroll reasons. |
SMS
Messaging
|
Text messages are a new feature which has been added,
allowing you to send messages to your clients. This can
help with marketing for you business encouraging clients to
enter the shop and can also be used to ensure that clients
are aware of their existing appointments. |
Bed
Re-tube Warnings
|
A new feature implemented in version six which puts the safety of
the client first. When beds have been re-tubed a warning remains in
the system for up to one week to let the staff know. This ensures
that the staff are aware that the beds are stronger than usual and
can warn clients who can make the decision to reduce their session
time. |
Improved gift voucher handling
|
The way gift vouchers are handled has been improved to add an additional level of security to the system. If you choose to use
this new facility, each time a gift voucher is sold, its serial number is recorded. Then, when it is later redeemed, the serial
number is marked as "used". This prevents users and customers from being able to use invalid or used vouchers, thereby preventing
theft in this area.

Multi-session appointments
|
You can now book several sessions into a single appointment slot. This is particularly useful for salons that offer a wider
range of services than just tanning, such as beauty, nails and hair salons. This means that you can book, say, a tanning session,
a manicure and a beauty treatment into a single appointment. When you process the appointment, all the items are added to the sale.

Improved database backup facility

The database backup system has been improved so that it works with a greater variety of backup media, such as floppy disks,
